All great literary works start with an introduction, so why should this be any different? Truth is, we think it's important to give a brief history into how we got to this journey. We won't start at the beginning, because that's too long and tedious, so let's start back to AUGUST 2005, when we decided to make our relationship "official" by becoming DOMESTIC PARTNERS in the state of California. Very romantic (insert sarcasm here). From that point we started a whole 'nother journey called "Planning a Wedding," which you can find here. Although gay marriage is not legal, we wanted to make a point to our family, friends, co-workers, and perhaps even each other that our love and commitment was valid.
